Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union (NGFCU) is currently seeking an experienced Business Development/Branch Operations Specialist. The Business Development/Branch Operations Specialist will be responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members either on the telephone, in-branch, or while representing the credit union at various community and sponsor events. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing counsel to new and existing members regarding to the various credit union services and investment opportunities available, assist members with opening new accounts (Regular Shares, Share Draft, Money Market, Term Accounts, IRAs, etc.) and submitting loan applications. The Member Service Representative/ Business Development Specialist will cultivate new and maintain existing relationships for all facets of the sponsor organizations and their affiliates.
With a committed focus on delivering high quality member service, the candidate must bring a strong work ethic and the ability to develop strong relationships with members and sponsor representatives to further grow branch service and sales levels. The successful candidate must have strong verbal communication skills with a level of comfort speaking to members and coworkers.
This position requires a results oriented and highly self-motivated individual, with the ability to effectively prioritize time and responsibilities. The candidate must have proven customer service and cash handling experience, and analytic capabilities with an attention to detail in processing member transactions and loan applications. The successful candidate will have exemplary organizational skills and possess intermediate level computer skills.
Our preferred candidate will have prior experience working at a member service level in a credit union environment, with some experience processing consumer loan applications.
This position requires qualified candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of previous member service experience with a Credit Union or bank, and the ability to resolve routine member inquiries. The candidate requires the ability to travel locally, and non-locally, up to 50% of the time, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation available for use in accomplishing job requirements.

The Call Center Representative will be responsible for providing phone support to the members calling the call center. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing counsel to new and existing members, in regards to various credit union products and services, and performing assigned teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions. These transactions may include, member inquiries, processing mail, wire processing and authorized account changes. Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union (NGFCU) is currently seeking a Call Center Supervisor in its Gardena, CA office. The Call Center Supervisor will be responsible for the daily management of Call Center operations. You will be responsible for ensuring operational compliance, sales and efficiency as per NGFCU guidelines. The Call Center Supervisor leads by example and creates a positive team environment while helping the Call Center representatives deliver excellent member service by telephone and electronic channels (email, etc.).
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed
- Meet Call Center evaluation requirements
- Ensure completion of required periodic audits on a timely basis
- Responsible for staying current with all applicable policies and procedures

Data Scientist / Data Analytics Manager– Financial Institution
Data Scientist / Data Analytics Manager
As NGFCU's Data Scientist / Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible to identify and implement data analytics applications for the credit union by (a) collaborating with business leaders to meet their needs and (b) discovering new ways to take advantage of the data through your own investigations. You will be responsible to create, through the selection and deployment of vendor capabilities, the integrated data sources that will enable the fulfillment of these needs, as well as the data visualization and dashboarding techniques necessary to exploit the integrated data warehouse. You will oversee "superuser" data application developers and business intelligence analysts on both a centralized basis and across the various departments / data users, and/or vendor application providers. You will implement data governance and data management protocols in support of these objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a leader and a curious and creative problem solver that seeks out the toughest challenges. You will have a passion for data mining, predictive analytics, business intelligence, and the improvement of decision-making processes. Skills & Experience

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder in our Gardena, CA branch. The Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder will be responsible for initiating the closing process on cleared to close mortgage files by balancing out final closing disclosures/estimated settlement statements both internally and externally with the title/escrow offices. The Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder will be responsible for preparing loan documents, sending them to closing offices, and coordinating closing process with parties including borrowers, escrow, title, and any other involved parties within the final loan closing process. The Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder will be responsible for preparing wire requests, funding duties, and onboarding new loans onto the loan servicing system.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of Escrow/Title/Loan Funding experience in a mortgage-lending role. Three years of experience working with FNMA/Freddie Mac/FHLB guidelines and standard industry guidelines. Thorough knowledge of state and federal mortgage lending regulations. Strong knowledge of California (and national) mortgage loan documentation is required.
To be considered for this key role, you must also have a demonstrated capability of successfully managing a mortgage-lending pipeline with a progressively increased level of productivity and efficiency with all mortgage loan products. Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional loan application experience by selling and matching our members with the most appropriate NGFCU mortgage products
- Manage all daily mortgage inbound leads and respond in a timely, effective manner
- Conduct outbound call efforts and support campaigns to generate real estate loan activity
- Interview members and thoroughly complete mortgage loan applications
- Ensure accuracy and completion of loan applications
- Provide compliant loan disclosures, loan estimates, and updates as necessary throughout the process
- Request, follow up, and obtain all necessary loan submission requirements including income and asset documentation, purchase contracts and mortgage statements
- Understand and follow GSE agencies guidelines in packaging real estate deals
- Calculate and incorporate any additional fees such as credit enhancements, loan level price adjustments, and private mortgage insurance premiums to each loan package as necessary
- Run, analyze and review credit reports and desktop underwriting to ensure that members meet eligibility and qualification requirements
- Manage a high volume pipeline effectively to ensure loans are closing in a timely manner
- Communicate and work with other parties within the mortgage transaction (realtors/escrow/title companies)
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in mortgage loan originations with a strong knowledge of general real estate lending practices, guidelines, and customary compliance requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. Must maintain an active and current NMLS ID number
- Must work well independently and be self-motivated
- Proven successful track record in originating mortgage loans and meeting sales goals
- Strong member service and time management skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Processor in either our Palmdale, CA office or Mission Systems branch in Linthicum Heights, MD. The Loan Processor is responsible for clearing all conditions needed to close a mortgage loan request. The Loan processor will communicate to borrowers all required conditions, and will follow up to ensure receipt of such conditions in a timely and accurate manner with accordance to lending policies and guidelines. The loan processor will also work closely with title, escrow, appraisal, and insurance companies, and all other involved parties to obtain and clear conditions.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of mortgage loan processing experience. Successful candidates must have a strong track record of working within established guidelines, managing multiple tasks and consistently attending to defined priorities within each business day.
To be considered for this key role, you must also have advanced knowledge of Desktop Underwriting and Loan Prospector, demonstrated proficiency with loan origination systems, and a strong knowledge of conventional, non-conforming, and FHA guidelines.

As Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union's (NGFCU) Secondary Market Analyst, you will be responsible for selling long-term mortgage loans to various investor channels, ensuring that the overall loan sales process is well managed on a daily basis, while maintaining the profitability, efficiency, and quality of each loan sale transaction. You will be responsible for publishing and distributing daily mortgage interest rates, as well as receiving, processing and confirming rate lock related requests and inquiries (new rate locks, extensions, and cancellations). You will maintain current knowledge of portfolio and investor guidelines and inform staff of changes. The Secondary Market Analyst will assist in the creation, distribution, and monitoring of periodic production reports, performance monitoring, and investor/departmental reporting. Includes investor applications, re-certifications, and assisting in the development of secondary market policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Determine best loan sale execution strategies to ensure optimal profitability of each loan sale transaction
- Process all secondary market loan commitment related activities (committing new loans, falling out/pairing off commitments)
- Maintain current knowledge of portfolio and investor guidelines and inform staff of changes
- Manage day to day mortgage pipeline hedging activities
- Review pipeline for key pricing changes and updating pricing as needed when change of circumstances occur
- Manage the selling of TBA (To Be Announced) MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities)
- Complete post-close investor required LOS forms (Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD))
- Upload automated loan files to investor technology platforms
- Run, update and distribute loan sales reports on regular basis
- Prepare and complete loan assignments, allonges, and other loan sale related forms as needed
- FedEx loan delivery packages to document custodian vendors
- Meet all established deadlines as requested
- Supports management in attaining Credit Union goals and objectives
- Assist management with new and existing investor relationships
- Periodically assist in the input and processing of Secondary Market sales transactions, reconciliation of sales, and in the post-closing delivery, suspense, and quality control review
- Backup support for disclosure analyst to include validating accurate initial disclosures including loan estimate in compliant and timely manner. Responsible to ensure we are meeting CFPB, TRID and the credit union's compliance requirements from a disclosure standpoint.
- Review Change of Circumstances to validate and decision requests for e-disclosure based on information provided to remain compliant
- Participates in training as assigned
- Participates in Department and organization meetings as directed
- Provides support and cross training in various areas as needed

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years secondary market or mortgage loan sales related experience
- Strong knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel software
- Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae underwriting guidelines and technology applications
- Working knowledge of compliance, legal documents, and appropriate lending regulation guidelines for mortgage loans
- General knowledge of secondary market investor's products and guidelines

Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union (NGFCU) is currently seeking a Teller II in its Dulles, Virginia branch. The Teller II will be responsible for performing assigned teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions as required. These transactions include, but are not limited to, receiving and disbursing funds in accordance with all credit union policies and procedures, processing mail transactions, and processing authorized account changes.
Successful candidates will have a successful record of accomplishment of working within established guidelines, managing multiple tasks and consistently attending to defined priorities within each business day.
