Open Positions
In the role of a Branch lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for staff support and processes related to branch operations. The Branch Lead will assist with departmental training and the maintenance of departmental procedures and compiling information for management review. Additionally, will be assisting in the completion of required periodic audits and negotiable instruments on a timely basis. The position works from our branch located in Linthicum, Maryland.

Requirements

Responsibilities
- Supports Branch Manager/Business Unit Supervisor in attaining branch goals and objectives.

NGFCU is currently seeking a Member Service Representative (MSR) who will be responsible for supporting our NGFCU branch located in Melbourne, FL. Under limited supervision, the MSR will be responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members either through the phone or in person. The successful candidate will provide counsel to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services and investment opportunities available, with an emphasis on current promotions. The MSR will perform assigned teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions as required. These transactions include, but are not limited to, member inquires, processing mail, authorized account changes, counter member transactions, and processing loan applications. Candidates must be able to balance a cash drawer within established guidelines and maintain an organized work environment and accurate records of all transactions.
With a committed focus on delivering high quality member service, the MSR must bring a strong work ethic and the ability to develop strong relationships with members and sponsor representatives to further grow branch service and sales levels.
This requires a results oriented and motivated individual. The successful candidate must have strong verbal communication skills with a level of comfort speaking to members and coworkers. The candidate must have proven customer service and cash handling experience, and analytic capabilities with an attention to detail in processing member transactions and loan applications.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with prior experience within the financial services industry. Our preferred candidate will have prior experience working at a member service level in a credit union environment, with some experience processing consumer loan applications.
This position requires qualified candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of previous member service experience, preferably with a CU/bank, and the ability to resolve routine member inquiries. Notary license is a plus. The successful candidate will have exemplary organizational skills and possess intermediate level computer skills.
