Dental and Vision Plans
Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union is pleased to offer members the opportunity to purchase dental and vision insurance through CIGNA Dental Care and VSP.
Enrollment benefits of our dental and/or vision care plans:
- Enroll up to the last quarter of the plan year
- Pro-rated premiums
- Coverage may start as soon as 15 days of enrollment
- Minimum commitment of one year
- Required NGFCU membership offers access to all other products and services

CIGNA dental care
NGFCU members can choose from two plans: Cigna Dental HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) or Cigna Dental PPO Advantage (Preferred Provider Organization). Your spouse and children up to age 26 are also eligible for coverage under these programs.
VSP Vision Care
VSP (Vision Service Plan) is the largest vision care provider in the United States, with more than 71,000 locations.
- Eye exam once every 12 months.
- Prescription glasses (single vision, lined bifocal, lined trifocal and standard progressive lenses) once every 12 months.
- Frames covered up to $200 or $190 on featured frame brands and $110 for Costco, plus 20% off any out-of-pocket cost once every 24 months.
- When you choose contacts in lieu of glasses, your $150 allowance applies to the cost.
