- Click: Find offers in your online or mobile banking transaction history. Click an offer from a participating retailer or service provider to activate.
- Shop: Use your NGFCU Visa Debit or Credit Card at the retailer or service provider to redeem the offer.
- Enjoy: Rewards are conveniently credited directly to your NGFCU checking account.
Cash Back Rewards FAQs
There is no limit to the cash rebates a participant can earn. The more ways you use your NGFCU Visa Debit or Credit Card, the more offers you can receive and the more money you can earn.
No. If you have an active NGFCU checking account and NGFCU Debit or Credit Card, and if you have an Online Banking account, the program is automatically available to you.
Yes. There is no cost to you. This program is just one of the many benefits of your NGFCU checking account.
Active NGFCU checking accounts with an associated NGFCU Debit or Credit Card are eligible for the program and are automatically enrolled. Savings and Money Market accounts are not eligible.
Program offers are based on how you use your NGFCU Debit or Credit Card. Offers are tailored to your purchases to ensure they are relevant to you. The more you use your NGFCU Debit or Credit Card, the more likely you are to receive offers. To earn a rebate, simply activate the offer by clicking it when it appears on your Online Banking account summary page. Each offer will have different qualifications and must be activated to qualify for the cash rebate. Once the offer is activated, use your NGFCU Debit or Credit Card at the participating retailer or service provider to pay for the transaction. Please read the details to determine how to redeem each offer and receive rewards.
Your personalized offers are located on your Online Banking Account Summary page under “Related Transactions.” A list of all offers is located on the NGFCU Cash Back Rewards summary page. This page contains offers available for activation, activated offers and redeemed offers as well as specifics for each offer, including expiration dates. Offers will be labeled as "New Offers" until you click to activate them. Once clicked, an offer is labeled as an "Active Offer." Activating an offer does not earn the rebate. After activating a rebate offer, you must comply with the participating retailer's or service provider's offer terms in order to redeem the offer.
Participants do not usually need a coupon or code to redeem an offer. However, each offer has different specifications regarding redemption requirements and how much the participant needs to spend. Offers that must be redeemed online are clearly specified and may include a redemption code. Participants should read the offer details to determine how to redeem each offer.
Each offer has an offer period set by the retailer or service provider. Offers must be redeemed before the expiration date. The expiration date can be found in the offer details section of each offer. Once an offer has expired, it cannot be reinstated. Please review all offer details, including expiration dates, on the NGFCU Cash Back Rewards summary page.
If you have multiple NGFCU checking accounts and/or Debit Cards and/or credit cards, you may receive offers tailored to your purchases for each of your accounts. To qualify for a rebate, the offer must be redeemed using the checking account and Debit or Credit Card for which the offer was received.
Program offers apply to the account so purchases made with either the Debit Card or Credit Card associated with this account qualify.
Since offers are based on personalized use of your NGFCU Debit or Credit Card, you may only receive the same offer someone else received if you have similar Debit or Credit Card usage.
No. NGFCU does not provide personally identifiable account or other personal information to retailers or service providers for the purpose of designing rebate offers or making rebate offers available to you, and participating retailers and service providers do not know that you, personally, have received any particular rebate offer.
If you’d like to stop receiving offers, click the "Stop Receiving All Offers" link to the right of your transaction register in your Online Banking account. If you have multiple checking accounts with NGFCU, you will need to opt out for each checking account for which you do not wish to receive offers.
Rebates earned prior to opting out will be credited to your checking account. You will not receive future offers unless you re-enroll in the program. If your account is closed before a rebate is credited to your account, the reward will be forfeited.
It's simple. If you opt out of the program but later change your mind, you can begin receiving offers again by clicking "Enroll in NGFCU Cash Back Rewards" to the right of your transaction register in your Online Banking account or by calling us at 800-633-2848.
Your rebates will be deposited to your checking account usually within 60 days of redemption. You may view the offers you have redeemed and the total value of the offers redeemed on the NGFCU Cash Back Rewards summary page.
Offers are tailored to your personalized shopping with your NGFCU Debit or Credit Card. Offers may be dependent upon the type of retailers and other service providers where you use your Debit or Credit Card. Also, the broader and more frequently you use your Debit or Credit Card, the more likely you are to receive offers. You may want to check your enrollment status to ensure you have not accidentally opted out of the program. If that is the case, you may re-enroll by clicking the enrollment link in Online Banking or by calling us at 800-633-2848.
