Getting Started & General Questions
The upgraded digital banking will be available this March!
Desktop: Login into online banking by clicking “Online Banking Login” on the top right of the ngfcu.us homepage.
- For your security and protection, your password must meet the standard minimum requirements. Upon first logging in, you will be prompted to review and update your password, though you may elect to keep your current one if it meets the requirements.
Mobile app:
- iOS users should receive an automatic update. If there is a delay, you can manually download the new app from the App Store®.
- Android users must download the new app from Google Play®. The old app has been disabled.
We've redesigned our digital banking to make your financial life easier with a fresh, easy-to-use interface. You'll enjoy a consistent experience whether you're online or on your mobile device, and you will have access to new features that allow you to personalize your banking with more self-service capabilities.

No. Past secure messages will not be transferred to the new system.
You can visit your local branch or call us at 800.633.2848 to sign up for a new digital banking account. Digital enrollment is coming soon!
The upgraded digital banking works on the two most recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge browsers.
The mobile app is available on Apple® and Android® devices using one of the two most recent operating systems.

Login & Security
If you don’t remember your password or username, simply click “Forgot Password or Username” on the login screen online or in the mobile app. You will be asked to verify your identity.

Yes, joint owners can log in the same way they always have by using their existing account credentials.
No. You'll be able to view all the accounts you have ownership of using just one single login.
Yes. After you log into the upgraded digital banking, you will be able to change your username or password under Settings.

Utilizing a strong and unique password is important in keeping your digital banking account secure. Avoid using the same password for multiple purposes.
Using multi-factor authentication further secures your account with either phone, text, email or authenticator app codes that must be provided to gain access.
NGFCU will never contact you to ask for these secure codes; if you are asked for this information, contact us directly to verify.
Mobile App & Biometrics
If your device offers Face or Touch ID, you’ll be asked if you’d like to set this up within the mobile app.
Yes. You can download the digital banking app to your tablet or iPad.
Yes, Zelle® will continue to be available in the upgraded digital banking using the mobile app.
Your transaction history will also be available.
Account & Transaction History
Different institutions can use different scoring models, and different update timing could also make the score slightly different.
As a reminder, the score that shows is not your actual FICO score that would show on your official credit report.
You will now be able to see all accounts you have ownership of, including joint account(s), in your Dashboard and Account views. If you do not wish to see these accounts, you can easily hide them from your Dashboard or from your entire digital banking experience (e.g., Transfer and Pay sections).
You must first enroll in external account linking through NGFCU digital banking before you can link accounts from other financial institutions.
Desktop Enrollment
- After logging into digital banking, navigate to the Settings Widget
- Click the Accounts Tab
- Click + Link an External Account on the top right corner
- Follow the prompts to Add an External Account
- Select the Edit icon to add a nickname to personalize your account.
Please note, login credentials are specific to the selected financial institution and might include two or more inputs such as a username, password, questions, tokens and other multi-factor authentication inputs required for a successful login.
Viewing Your External Account
After providing the initial login and multi-factor authentication credentials correctly, you will receive a success message. The system will begin retrieving account details such as name, balance, or type, and read transactions within 60 seconds. Your external account details and transactions can be viewed in the Accounts or Dashboard widgets.
Mobile Enrollment
- Open the NGFCU App on your iOS or Android Device
- Go to Accounts
- Go to the end of the Accounts list and tap Link and View External Accounts
- Enter the financial institution name in the search box.
- Please note, if you tap X in the upper-right corner to close the Link Accounts screen, it exits the flow prematurely.
- A message will appear notifying you that the accounts are syncing as the addition of the external account processes. A second message will appear when the process is completed. Click Save and Finish. The external accounts are then available on the Accounts list.

No. There is no cost to add your external accounts to your NGFCU Digital Banking.
Daily, please note that some accounts will not automatically refresh if the other financial institution requires multi-factor authentications. If they use multi-factor authentication, then you must refresh your credentials by navigating to settings, then accounts and clicking on the aggregate account you would like to be updated.
Ensure the login information for the financial institution you are attempting to link is correct. If your information is accurate, and you are still having an issue, and see a yellow alert icon or the Balance as of…. Date is old, you must refresh the data manually.
Navigate to Settings, then Accounts. Go to External Accounts, there you will see a section with icons to update your credentials, edit, and delete the account. Please note, once the account is deleted, all transactions, balance, budget and categorization information will be lost for the account.
All accounts will be displayed under an External Accounts heading in Settings under Accounts. External Accounts will appear on your dashboard and also in Settings under the Accounts section.
No, you will not have access to view external account statements within NGFCU Digital Banking.
Yes. All your payee and payment information will still show in the upgraded digital banking.
Once you log in, you’ll notice a change to the look and feel of your account dashboard, but all your account info will be the same.
Yes, your scheduled transfers will continue in the upgraded digital banking system.
