We have been notified of scammers posing as our fraud prevention department and requesting sensitive information. The fraudsters are calling from a different phone number, but spoofing the NGFCU phone number (800.633.2848) so that it is misleadingly displayed on the caller ID. These wrongdoers are pretending to be NGFCU representatives and asking members to verify transactions and provide account verification information.
If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately. You can directly call NGFCU without issue at 800.633.2848.
Remember: NGFCU will never call you to ask for your password or PIN.
Please be mindful of fraudsters impersonating a business to trick you into giving them your personal information, such as usernames, passwords and credit/debit card details. If you receive a call from someone indicating they represent NGFCU that person asks you to provide the information mentioned above, please hang up and call us back to ensure it's truly an NGFCU representative.
