International Credit Union (ICU) Day is on October 19, 2023. It is a special occasion that unites credit unions across the globe to celebrate their shared values, achievements, and the positive impact they have on their communities. Observed on the third Thursday of October every year, ICU Day highlights the many ways credit unions help their members work towards achieving their financial goals. This year marks the 75th anniversary of ICU Day, and NGFCU is planning to celebrate with our members and employees.
At NGFCU we always have our members best interest in mind. Whether its financial services, products, education, or access, we strive to give back to our members.
Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” That principle has been in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products that look to meet the needs of underserved communities. Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.
How can you be a part of this special occasion?
As part of the celebration, NGFCU will have in-branch snacks for the whole week; October 16th – 20th.
And in the true ICU Day spirit of people helping people, we’re also awarding special prizes to members who tell us how an NGFCU employee has helped them. Winning submissions will receive a $175 prize for the member, and $175 for the NGFCU employee who helped them. Three prizes will be awarded.
