Using the_Max! eBranch

the_Max! eBranch is safe, secure, confidential, and gives you more convenient access to your accounts anytime, anywhere. Check your account and loan balances, review recent account activity, make transfers between accounts, pay bills (write fewer checks!), and much more!

Accessing the_Max! eBranch

the_Max! eBranch is easy to access. Visit the NGFCU homepage and use the login panel. Enter your User ID and security code into the fields provided, then click the Login button. Confirm your Security Image and type in your password. Click the Submit button.

Every user will need to register new login credentials before their first login through the login panel. On the login panel click on the Register button to start the registration process. You will need to use your Call 24 PIN to initiate the registration process. If you need help with registration or login, please call Max Support at 800-633-2848 and a representative will assist you.

the_Max! Mobile

View your account information and transfer funds from the convenience of your mobile phone anytime, anywhere. Visit mobile.ngfcu.us from your mobile device, then login to the_Max! eBranch to access your account.

You may be charged Internet access rates depending on your cell phone carrier. You will need Internet access in order to use the_Max! Mobile. Check with your cellular service provider for details on specific fees and charges.

Accessing and activating the_Max! Mobile Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android Phones

iPhone and iPad

iPhone and iPad users need to visit the iTunes Store, search for "Northrop FCU," and install the appropriate app for the_Max! eBranch.

In order to ensure you are a valid the_Max! eBranch user, we require you to activate your account on the Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union the_Max! eBranch before using the Mobile application. Once you have activated your account, you will be given an activation code that you can use to enable accesss to your account from the Mobile application.

Follow these steps to activate your mobile account:

  1. Login to the_Max! eBranch at https://www.ngfcu.us/ using a computer.
  2. Click "User Options," then "Change User Devices."
  3. Click "Add New Device" and add a new "Mobile" device.
  4. Give your device a nickname, such as "My iPhone" or "My iPad" and click "Next."
  5. Write down the activation code for your device and enter it on the "Activate Device" screen.

If you have not yet activated any accounts you will be prompted for the activation code when the mobile application is first run. If you are activating an additional account, click the "Activate Another Account" button on the login screen and enter your activation code.

If you have multiple accounts that you would like to access with this device, you will need to activate each of those accounts individually by following the above instructions. If you would like to access your account with multiple devices, you will need to activate your account on each device.

Android Phones

Android users should visit Android Market, search for "Northrop FCU," and install "the_Max!" app.

In order to ensure you are a valid the_Max! eBranch user, we require you to activate your account on the Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union the_Max! eBranch before using the Mobile application. Once you have activated your account you will be given an activation code that you can use to enable access to your account from the Mobile application.

  2. Click "User Options," then "Change User Devices."
  3. Click "Add new Device" and add a new "Mobile" device.

  5. Write down the activation code for your device.

If you have not yet activated any accounts, the Mobile application will prompt you for the activation code when started. If you are activating an additional account, click the "Activate Another Account" button on the Mobile application login screen, then enter the activation code you wrote down. You may now login to your account using the mobile application.

If you have multiple accounts that you would like to access with this device, you will need to activate each of those accounts individually. If you have multiple devices, you will need to activate your account on each device.

About Security

Is it safe to give out my account information over the internet?

We have taken all appropriate measures to ensure that our website and the_Max! eBranch are secure, and that account information remains private. Our members also play a role in protecting their information. Your the_Max! eBranch User ID and Password should be provided only when your browser shows a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session is taking place. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology encrypts account information between computers, so that it is virtually impossible to be read by others. We recommend that our members use a current version of browser software so that they may benefit from the most up to date Internet security available. After you finish any website session that included viewing or sending private information, you should close your browser window.

Security Tips

  • Never reveal your PIN or password. This includes your Call 24 PIN or the password that you created when you signed up for the_Max! eBranch.
  • Use the Logout icon to end your session on the_Max! eBranch. This will expire all the cookies that were set in your session.
  • The amount of time you can remain inactive before being automatically logged out of the_Max! eBranch can be set under Online Services. It is prudent to keep this time setting as short as possible.
  • It is recommended that you balance your account at least once a month so that any discrepancies can be reported to us in a timely manner.
