Information about NGFCU's Credit Card Conversion

NGFCU is migrating to a new Credit Card Processor on March 21, 2021

On March 21, 2021, NGFCU will convert to a new credit card processor. This will allow us to offer the latest technology available and continue to provide the highest level of fraud protection. As we complete this upgrade, here are all the important details you need to know.

Impact to Visa Cardholders

  • There will be minimum impact to you
  • Card numbers will remain the same, no action needed from you
  • Website and Mobile Banking experience will look and feel different
  • You will continue to have access to your card history and transaction details
  • Effective March 21, 2021, please send payments to the address below if making a payment by mail:

Impact to Mastercard Cardholders

  • Mastercard will be reissued and replaced with a new contactless card
  • Your new card will have a new number and expiration date
  • You should receive your new Mastercard by March 15, 2021
  • Please continue to use your existing card until March 20, 2021
  • Discard your old card after March 21, 2021
  • Please activate your new Mastercard on or after the migration date of March 21, 2021. The system will not allow you to activate prior to March 21.
  • Once activated, update your card information with any recurring billing merchants.
    You will need to provide your new card number to any automatic billers you have set up. This includes automatic debits or payments such as subscriptions, monthly bills, or recurring charges.
  • Effective March 21, 2021, please send payments to the address below if making a payment by mail:

  • If you pay your NGFCU credit card using another financial institution's Bill Pay service, update the payment information with the above address.
    Note: To prevent any failed payments, we will automatically provide your credit card number and expiration date when new information becomes available to the merchants. This is done in partnership with participating merchants. If a merchant doesn't participate in the program, your information will not be automatically updated.
